Microblading for beginners (3 days including assessment day)
This exciting course is designed to ensure every student is trained to become a skilled, knowledgable and confident artist to practice the skill of eyebrow procedures using the ancient technique, originating from Asia, of eyebrow embriodery or, as we have come to know it, ‘microblading’.
Please note that this course is for eyebrow reconstruction/definition only. Lip and eyeliner procedures are carried out using the machine method and covered in the 6 day micropigmentation course.
Micropigmentation for beginners (6 days including assessment day)
Open up the doors of opportunity by offering not only brows, but eyeliner and lip procedures. These procedures are carried out by machine and use a wide variety of different size needles, which can later lead onto many other techniques such as skin needling, nipple and areola, scalp and scar rejuvenation procedures.
Combination Course for beginners (6 days including assessment day)
This course offers the best of both worlds covering microblading AND micropigmentation procedures. Being able to offer clients everything from natural, realistic hairstrokes, powdered/ombre brows, eyeliner and lushous lips will put your business on the map!
Courses will cover:
- Introduction, history, methods and benefits of micropigmentation
- Practicing Safe Procedures including sanitation, sterlisation and hygiene

- Skin conditions and how treatment can be effected

- Colour and pigment theory
- Understanding skin types ‘Fitzpatrick Scale’

- Choosing the right colour
- Colour correction
- Eyebrow and lip shaping/mapping
- Patch testing
- Client care and consultation
- Equipment needed to carry out treatment
- Choosing the right needle
- Topical anesthetic products
- Carrying out the procedure

- Invaluable tips and advice, ‘dos and donts’ and ‘learn by my mistakes’
- Practice work on fake ‘skins’, live demonstrations, practical work on models
Students will be sent pre-reading manuals prior to training covering:
Legislation Acts, Licence Requirements, Consumer Complaint, Minors and Insurance, Code of Practice, Professional Ethics, Therapist Hygiene and Presentation, Anatomy and Physiology for microblading/micropigmentation techniques, Bloodbourne Pathogens and how disease is spread, Preventing Cross Contamination, Advanced Health and Safety.
3 Day Manual to Machine Conversion
This course is designed for those already trained in microblading who want to advance onto machine work, opening opportunities to offer further techniques such as ‘powdering’ and ‘ombre’ brows, eyeliner and lipliner/colour. Course will cover theory, machine, needle choice, demonstrations and practical. Models will be required. Machine NOT included in price.
2 Day Machine to Manual Conversion
This course is designed for those already trained in micropigmentation who want to offer the ultimate in natural hairstrokes using microblading techniques. Course will cover theory, tools, needle choice, demonstrations and practical. Models will be required. Microblading tool and blades ARE included in price.
